Vintage Clothing & Fashion in the Movies: "The Women" by George Cukor 1939
Fabulous vintage clothes, don't you think? Some of the costumes are so outlandish in the best sort of way! The "eyes" sweater for example... it's so interesting, I could easily see this being snapped up in a heart beat at a vintage shop.

It's an incredible film isn't it? A favourite of vintage lovers around the globe. The eye sweater is extremely surreal and a very popular influence of the time.

ReplyDeleteThe red and white dress reminds me of Mary Poppins! =] I love the little white Peter Pan collar blouses they're wearing with their miniskirts as well.
