I simply adore these vintage photographs from the 1900s to the 1920s of lovely women in pretty floaty things with shimmery fairy wings and dresses that ripple in the soft breeze. And I most especially love the photos of the women dancing in the forests, how fun, how fun would it have been!

Absolutely loved this little sojourn back into another time, another place. Hard to imagine what it must have felt like to these fairy dancers, who were yet to experience the war and all the subsequent changes of the early 21st century. It's a delightful post.
