We have a couple employee birthdays here at Adored Vintage HQ and in preparation for the June festivities we found some great DIY party decorations that are too pretty just to use at celebrations. We love the idea of adding a pretty garland to a picture wall or above a headboard. Thanks to some AMAZING crafty bloggers we may be making garlands instead of working this week! Just kidding, but we did find some amazing tutorials, take a look below!
Tissue Paper Garlan Tutorial from Ruffled Blog
With minimal supplies (and your crafty hat) you can make your own custom garland for any occasion or like we plan, to hang year round your home for a little festive touch. We love this particular paper garland tutorial because the supplies are easy to find at your local party supply store and the instructions are super easy to follow! Go to Ruffled Blog to see full DIY tutorial and supply list!
And because we adore these little sweet crafts so much, here are more inspirations and other links to adorable little garlands to make for your parties or just to decorate your home or office with.
Chalkboard Banner Garland from Delia Creates
There are so many fun and colorful garland inspirations from Kleine Schwester, it was hard to choose just one to show here. But these we loved since they were outdoors. It would be great to have on your patio for summer BBQs, no?
Love these pretty pleated circle shaped garland from The Handmade Home and these Paper Flower Garland from How About Orange on Flickr are so dang cute!
Oh my goodness, and don't even get us started on these adorable pom pom garlands! What colors would you do if you were to make one? We'd probably choose our favorite colors for the office...peach, pink, grey, and cream! Loving these rainbow pom-poms with antlers from See Jane Blog and these charming large pom poms over the bead from Vicious Kitsch. J'adore!
