Vintage Style Muse: Lauren Hutton

Today we are feeling very inspired by Lauren Hutton, who at 69 has landed an ad campaign for Lucky Brand. We have been fans of this vintage babe since she shook up the modeling world in the 1970s. She was signed with Ford modeling agency in her twenties and was immediately advised to correct the gap in her teeth. Ultimately her instincts proved her right because the gap became part of her signature look that catapulted her to fame. She quickly gained popularity, gracing the cover of Vogue 26 times and signing an unprecedented contact with Revlon cosmetics!

After a stint with acting she has returned to modeling. She has been outspoken with her views about aging and plastic surgery saying "Our wrinkles are our medals of the passage of life. They are what we have been through and who we want to be."

We love seeing the longevity of her career and are very inspired with her attitude. Her style on the red carpet is very glamourous while her street style is off duty model chic with a tomboy flair. We love that she can take it from one extreme to the other and pull everything off. If we can age half as gracefully as she has, we will be lucky!

  2. I'm a great fan of Mrs.Hutton and I think as she got older she became much more a natural beauty. Don't you think so?

  3. I am deeply impressed by this woman. She still looks amazing, despite (or because?) her wrinkles, a natural beauty. There should be more women like her!
