Vogue in the 1940s

I found these images from vintage 1940s Vogue to be quite inspirational. The tailoring of their clothing was simply sublime!



Here are a few images of Keira Knightley in the 2008 movie "The Edge of Love" set in the 1940s. Simply gorgeous!

    I think Myrna Loy in "The Thin Man" is wearing a dress or a very similar one like the one in the 1st picture.
    Although the movie is b/w I have alsways pictured the dress in white and mint-green like in the picture
