Episode 3 and Episode 4 of Miss Phryne's Murder Mysteries, the Australian crime period drama series, had several 1920s outfits I liked. It's also when we start seeing a repeat of some of Phryne's wardrobe and repetitions of other character's clothing. I do love it when a tv show recycles clothing, especially in period series as I feel it's much more authentic to the era.

Without further ado, clothing and ensembles from the set in the 1920s tv series, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. And as always, screen caps from Grande Caps/Period-Drama.

This cardigan and blouse worn by Dot is one of my favorites. The colors are so sweet.

Isn't this tweed suit just amazing! Phryne looks so good in red!

This red ensemble is a repeat! Hooray!

Dot's blouse with the bow is just so cute! I think my personal wardrobe is a blending of Phryne's and Dot's closet. I'd like to think so anyway :)

It's another installment of beautiful 1920s frocks from the Australian tv series, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. If you missed the clothes from episode 1, season 1, you can view them here. This episode has several flapper outfits I really quite fancy and I also adore Dot's wardrobe as the colors are more up my alley.

OH...and if you're interested in reading more about the 1920s costumes in this tv show, here is a lovely interview with Marion Boyce, the costume designer for the show: Designing Miss Fisher's Wardrobe

All screen caps from Grande Caps-Period Drama.

This ensemble is my favorite, thus far, from the series. I WILL find a grey wool coat just like this someday! I normally don't wear a lot of red, but the grey and red just look so damn swell together!

I was tipped off about this intriguing crime period drama from Solanah of Vixen Vintage and at the mention of 1920s wardrobe, my interest was instantly piqued! The show I speak of is the Australian series, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, a crime series set in the 1920s.

The series stars Essie Davis as the witty, sassy, and incredibly well outfitted flapper Phryne Fisher, who is also a female detective. Nothing I like more than a historical mystery series while the main star runs about in fur trimmed velvet coats, floral adorned cloche hats, and conceals a blade and gold gun in her lace trimmed hosiery.

Here are some gorgeous screen caps from the show via Grande-Caps/Period Drama showcasing some of my favorite 1920s outfits from the show for episode 1, season 1. You really must watch it if you love 1920s fashion!
