Don't you just love vintage advertisements? Not a sullen girl in sight! All pretty smiles, dreamy far off looks, and of course I love some of the cheesy copy.

  1. I especially like the one for the laughing-eyed flapper with her mischievous eyes :)

  2. that is awesome! where do you find this stuff?! I loved the "are you in the know" or "I thought I was doomed.." just because of the dramatic flavor to it :)

  3. I am a second year journalism student writing a feature article about vintage clothing.

I hope you don’t mind me contacting you on here - I couldn't find any other contact details.

I adore your blog and was wondering if you would be able to spare two minutes to answer a couple of questions for my research!?

I am looking to gain a professional perspective and interview as many fashion-knowledgeable people as possible.

Below are a few questions which I hope to answer in my article.

What is the attraction of vintage clothing?

One of my main concerns in buying vintage is one of price and quality. How can you be sure that you have a quality vintage buy on your hands and not someone’s tatty old jumper from the 90s?

Or is that now what constitutes as ‘vintage’? Has the definition of what counts as vintage changed? Is the term itself over-used?

If you could email your thoughts for any of the above questions I would be extremely grateful.

This feature will make up a large amount of my final grade and really means a lot to me.

    Many thanks for your time.
