A couple months back a lovely friend introduced us to the shop owners of Individual Medley and to the shop itself and it was an instant mutual respect and admiration for each other's handiwork. Justin and Monica have curated the most wonderful selection of men and women's clothing, home goods, accessories, and children's wares we've seen in awhile. Their industrial meets western shop in Atwater Village is always filled with the scents of flowers, sage, and incense and the product presentation tempts the senses to be tried on and touched.

To top of their well stocked shop, these high school sweethearts are such genuine, kind, and solid people and have shared with us how they're living the American Dream. Lots of hard work, determination, and taking risks. Much adoration to these two and their amazing shop!

The women's clothing selection is well stocked with pieces that are easy to wear and easy to layer. Individual Medley probably has the best hat selection for women hands down. If you're into that 70s floppy hat look or a Western vibe, get your topper here!

My friend Whitney (who is adorable and has amazing taste) owns the equally adorable and well curated women's boutique MYRTLE shop in Echo Park is hosting a trunk show with Gretchen Jones of Project Runway fame. Ahh...sorry I said fame, that sounds kind of lame. Oh damn, now I'm rhyming. *must have more coffee*

I've wrangled up most of the girls from my work to go, so super excited! I'm also really quite excited to meet Gretchen because she was my absolute favorite on Project Runway! *fan girl nerd moment*
