The vintage and antique wedding dresses you'll find at Adorevintage are for the bride that wants something different, something old (and new, to you, at the same time *hehe*), and for the bride that wants an eco friendly wedding dress.

AV just got a bunch of vintage wedding dresses from the 1920s to 1970s as well as a couple of antique Edwardian tea gowns that could easily double as a romantic bridal dress for your walk down the aisle. Visit the "Vintage Bridal" section for more selections!

I fell in love with a few of the dress at Sunday Brunch Dress and was even more smitten after reading their 'about' page. I completely 100% agree... I really love the designers they carry (Yoana Baraschi, Kloset, and Samantha Pleet to name a few), the selection isn't very big, but lots of lovely vintage inspired dresses.

"Every woman writes her own story. So shouldn’t our own stories be the ones we love best? - That’s why we get excited opening up those old books, because now that old, loved story is about to become special to us, special in a slightly different, slightly new, way. - A dress is about savoring life, *our* lives. When we read a good story, we close our eyes and see the characters. The right dress can make us feel that way."

Well you wouldn't want to...right? But isn't this vintage dress just darling for a summer wedding? And it's not completely white anyway... You could wear it with different types of belts to go with the wedding theme. Maybe a natural colored belt with little baubles for a beach style wedding (or perhaps a light blue sash?) Or perhaps a dark fuschia velvet belt with a little cluster of blossoms for a more romantic evening occasion? Darn, I'm kind of wishing I had a wedding to go to! LOL.

Some brides don't even wear white anymore... what's your opinion on it? I personally am a little more traditional, I think brides should wear white or at least a variation of it. I wore a pretty satin off white colored dress (I can't remember the name of the color, except it sounded delicious, HAHA!) when I got married.

More vintage dresses coming this week, mostly dating from the late 70s and 80s. And I have an AMAZING Mary Quant vintage dress coming soon to the shop as well! I might plan a photoshoot around it though, it's so mod and cute, very Twiggy! So might not be added to the Couture section for a little while.
